Nursing Student Entrance Exam for the OCCC Nursing Program

To all applicants applying to the OCCC Nursing Program for a September 2014 admission, you are required to take a Nursing Student Entrance Exam through ATI: Advanced Technologies Institute: TEAS V (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

The TEAS Exam will be offered at OCCC on May 2, 2014

There will be two sessions:

  • Session One: 8am-12noon
  • Session Two: 1pm-5pm

Testing will be conducted at Oregon Coast Community College (OCCC), Central Campus, located at 400 SE College Way, Newport, in Room 71: Computer Lab (follow the signs)

Any time prior to the day of testing you must create an online ATI account at:

                https://www.atitesting.com/solutions/prenursingschool/teas.aspx

 

  • Go to secure sign-on in the upper right hand corner of the webpage and create an account
  • You must create an account prior to the exam in order to be eligible to sit for the exam.   The cost of the exam is covered by your application fee.
  • There is information available at the ATI website that will assist you in preparing for the exam. There are also some ATI: TEAS V review books available at the OCCC Central Campus Library.

 

Note: On the day of testing, please bring a valid government issued, photo I.D. with you to the testing site.  All other personal items should be securely locked in your vehicle or in the OCCC nursing office.

  • If you’ve previously taken the TEAS V exam within the last year and want to use your scores, please request an official transcript from ATI (the cost of this transcript is the responsibility of the applicant). Please ensure that the transcript is sent to the OCCC Nursing Department by April 25, 2014. Transcripts are available at the following website:
